Este álbum agrupa por primera vez casi todos los temas más significativos de la carrera de Lennon en solitario en versión acústica. Siete de los 16 temas del álbum son auténticos estrenos. Dos temas, The Luck Of The Irish y John Sinclair, se grabaron en directo en Ann Arbor en 1971, mientras que la versión recogida de Imagine se registró en directo en el Manchester Apollo ese mismo año.
